About Me
Stumbling Through Life, Trying to Find My Passions
My name is Joshua, but most people call me Josh.
You can find me in the Greater Los Angeles Area either dancing with friends and community, eating all of the delicious food the city has to offer, or exploring all of the amazing scenery around the area.
In 2018, I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Mathematics of Computation. Currently, I work as a Data Analyst II for Centene Corporation, but have experience as a software engineer, working on projects relating to computer vision, machine learning, and data analytics. I'm always looking for new ways to challenge myself and develop my skillset, specifically in business analytics, data science, or product management. Outside of my professional career, I'm also a freelance cinematographer, specifically photography and videography. My photography work focuses on landscapes and moments in nature while my videography work centers on dance concept videos and promotional content. You can see some of my previous work below or on my social media.
If you're interested in creating something or wanting to capture a special moment, reach out to me and let's make something great together.

Creative Expression, When Words Aren't Enough
Music is the way for the soul to speak when words just can't capture what it means. I've had the honor to be able to compose original compositions to assist others produce their ideal vision and what music means to them. Check out some of the previous productions that I've had the pleasure to contribute to.

My Soul Restored
"My Soul Restored" is a 14-track album produced by Mark Rasmussen and his family. It features original arrangements and compositions by Mark Rasmussen and Amy Rasmussen. I had the pleasure of composing and recording violin arrangments for four of the tracks. Take a listen on Spotify or here.

41st Samahang Pilipino Culture Night
Samahang Pilipino Culture Night is an annual production made possible by the Samahang Pilipino club at UCLA. Every production touches upon subjects that the overall Pilipino community relates to, whether its about topics regarding the past or relating to current cultural events. I had the pleasure and opportunity to assist in composing original pieces for the production and perform on the cello during the live performance. Take some time to watch the production.
